Every Saturday at eight thirty my day of music starts. First I go to J.S.O (junior symphony orchestra), then I go to my flute lesson and I finish of with flute ensemble. At J.S.O I play my flute and I am a first flute on all my pieces accept one, and that piece is called Dance with the Clowns. Then I have twenty minuets before my flute lesson. In my flute lesson with me is three other girls called Betty, Ashly and Amanda. My awesome flute teacher Janet Simon is also there. In my flute lesson I play my scales, my pieces and my oral. Then My Dad usually takes Claude and I home for about 20 minuets before I have to go to flute ensemble. At flute ensemble I play 3rd flute for most of the pieces except one in that piece I play 2nd flute. Next year I mite start to play the piano and that could add to the morning rush.

Life Ed
On the 4th week of term two the Life Education Trust came to our school. A few weeks before in our team meetings our L.As(learning advisers)read out four sentences to explain four activities we could choose to do. The four choses were In The Shadows, Keeping a Balance, Making Choices and W.O.F. Then we voted for the one we liked best and the two that we ended up doing were In The Shadows and Keeping a Balance. I was in keeping a balance. On the first day we talked about stress and how to deal with it. We got given cards with types of thing that cause stress and we had to talk about things that could help us deal with it.
On the seconded day we learned about the brain and how it grows over the years of your childhood and early adult years of your life.
On the third day we learnt about the human body and how all our vital organs work witch was very interesting at some points. On the fourth day we talked about commonly abused drugs and the affect they have on the body. In the lesson we looked at some fowl lungs the first lung was a none smokers lung and the other one was the lung of a smoker with lung cancer.
Skirt making
Maya and I are making a skirt for our inquiry. The fabric we are using is calico and we are using a full skirt pattern. First we had to find the perfect pattern and pin the pattern pieces onto the fabric in such a way so that we saved fabric and cut them out. The skirt we are making at the moment is a practice so we can see if it is was we really want. After we cut out the pieces for our skirt we had to pin them together so that it looked like an inside out skirt but instead of seems it will have pins. Then we had to start to sew the sides of the skirt together so that it looked relatively like the picture on the front of the pattern. On one of the seems we had to sew it only to about half way in order to sew the zip in.
Swimming
Every Wednesday at 4:10pm I go to swimming lessons at Aquagym swim school.
My lesson goes for 45 minuets. Every week we do something different but we usually start with our ninja warm up witch is streamline kick to half way,one ford roll at half way then free stile to the end. On the way back we do streamline kick to half way, two tiger jumps at half way then back stroke to the end. Then my swimming teacher tells us what to do.
The next stage for me is to get better at breaststroke.
